Terms of Use (EULA) — 6MWT Guide

Effective Date: May 6, 2026

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“User”) and the developer of 6MWT Guide (“the App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. License

The App is licensed, not sold, to you for use only under the terms of this Agreement. The developer grants you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

2. Educational Purpose Only

The App is provided for educational and self-tracking purposes only.

The App is not a medical device.
The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
The App is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, monitor, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
All estimated reference values shown in the App are calculated from publicly available formulas and are intended solely for educational and self-monitoring purposes.

If you have any health concerns, please consult a qualified healthcare professional before using the App or starting any new exercise routine.

3. User Responsibility

You acknowledge and agree that:

You use the App entirely at your own risk.
You are responsible for assessing your own physical condition before performing any walking test or exercise.
You should stop any activity immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest discomfort, or any other unusual symptoms.
The developer is not responsible for any injury, health issue, or damage resulting from use of the App.

4. Subscription and Payment

The App offers an auto-renewing subscription:

Monthly Plan: $3.99 / month
Free Trial: 3 days (first-time users only)

Subscription details:

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
The free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions

No refunds will be provided for partially used subscription periods, except as required by applicable law.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and materials in the App are the intellectual property of the developer or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the App without prior written permission.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

The developer does not warrant that:

The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
The estimated values shown will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific purpose.
The App will meet your individual requirements or expectations.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to personal injury, loss of data, or loss of profits, even if the developer has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Privacy

The App does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. All data you enter is stored locally on your device. For details, please see our Privacy Policy:

9. Changes to This Agreement

The developer reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement. The latest version will always be available at this URL.

10. Termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated. Your rights under this Agreement will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete it from your device.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved in the courts of Japan.
